Freedom Rides runs on a small bench of drivers dispatch approves by hand — not an anonymous marketplace. Every ride is logged end-to-end so anything that needs review has a paper trail.
Drivers you can trust
- Every driver is reviewed and approved by dispatch, one at a time, and only an approved driver can be assigned a ride.
- There is no open sign-up. Nobody drives for Freedom Rides because they downloaded something.
- Your ride names the driver dispatch gave it, and dispatch records which car goes out on it.
- Drivers operate in a small bench inside your neighborhood — not a marketplace of strangers from across town.
An audit trail for every ride
- Every status change — requested, accepted, en route, arrived, completed — is recorded with a timestamp.
- The fare comes from a published route price, is shown before you confirm, and is written onto the ride at that moment — not a surge auction, and not something that moves afterwards.
- Cancellation reasons are captured so dispatch can review patterns.
If something goes wrong
Dispatch — a real person — reviews every flagged ride. You can open a refund request from any completed-ride receipt page; it lands in dispatch's queue and a person decides it.

Freedom Rides operates in select neighborhoods and grows one at a time. When you book, the app will tell you immediately if your pickup or drop-off is outside our service area.
