The flagship is a Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD with seven seats — though honestly, the third row is best for kids and riders under about five feet, and using it trims luggage space. A hitch carrier adds capacity, and for big groups with big bags the bench includes an Honda Odyssey. Dispatch records which car goes out on your ride, and your ride page names the driver they assigned you.

Freedom Rides opens one neighborhood at a time. When you start booking, the app will tell you immediately if your pickup or drop-off is outside our current service area.

By hand, and only by hand. A dispatcher approves each driver before that driver can be assigned a single ride, and there is no self-serve sign-up to route around it. Freedom Rides runs a small bench rather than an open marketplace, and drivers know the neighborhood because they live in it.

The trips we run most are set routes with a published price, plus any time-of-day band or add-on that applies — the total is on screen before you confirm and is written onto the ride at that moment, so a later price change never rewrites it. A trip that is not on a set route is priced by dispatch, and your receipt shows it as soon as they do.

From your receipt page you can open a refund request. Dispatch reviews it — not a chatbot. Every status change is logged with a timestamp so disputes have a paper trail.

Yes. Same trip every Tuesday at 8am, every weekday morning, whatever you need. You can deactivate and reactivate the recurrence at any time.

The driver app is offline-tolerant: status updates queue locally and replay when the signal returns, and it caches an offline shell so it still opens with no signal. Booking is an ordinary web page and needs a connection.
